The soft sound of rain even if it's shining out. Professor Atwood's office has all the touches of the Pacific Northwest: exposed black metal beams, red brick, and warm leather accents. It is oddly not too different from the weather Hogwarts experiences, so most will not notice at all. It is a home away from home. There is a radio playing muggle music somewhere on the bookshelf. Like his classroom, Professor Atwood's office is organized to an extreme note. The only sign of mishap being the piles of coursework he needs to grade, and even then, it seems to be sorted.
His door is either wide open when during office hours or slightly ajar when he is in, but not expecting visitors. He has a nice leather couch he tends to laze around when his guard is down. The room is smaller than you'd expect it to be. His personal potion-work and materials are hidden behind the bookshelf behind his work desk.
The professor does not own a pet, and would appreciate if visitors do not bring their own into his space.

Important Note: The professor cherishes his weekends, and if seen outside of school grounds, will not talk about coursework. He simply redirects to his office hours, or set an appointment that fits the student's needs. Has been known to not react to "Professor" if not directly facing the speaker- partially still new to the title, partially because he doesn't have his "professor" hat on in the moment.
