It disappoints me that so few people in my college choir don't know it very well. o_o

I honestly don't think that I should be in choir. As far as I'm concerned, the only reasons that I am are that I'm a low alto (and there aren't enough of them at this school), and I can match pitch.

Nerina didn't realize this year would be so fun. She rolled up her oversized suitcase to her dorm room and flicked her tongue over her sharpened canines. Not there now, she had been there recently though. Too many smells were going on for her to really pinpoint the location but that was okay. If she was here the two would meet eventually. Ruining Andromeda's year wasn't her only purpose here anyway... as tempting as it would be for her. Nerina fully intended to focus on her education and maintain her role at her previous school- top of the class in scores. She was, above all else, an intellectual and she took this very seriously. She fumbled with the door of her room for a moment before it finally clicked open allowing her entry. It seemed she had a roommate, one who had already claimed their space on their side of the room. She let out an annoyed sigh, they took the side she preferred usually. Perhaps the relationship could be salvaged- so long as they were quiet during her study times. In the blink of an eye Nerina was in the room carefully inspecting her roommate's side, carefully making note of everything and filing that information away. Once she had gathered all the knowledge she could about the person she would be spending her year with she began the painstaking process of unpacking her suitcase. Nerina had a knack for packing the perfect suitcase, not an inch of wasted space. As she began to pick through her belongings she heard a faint knock at the door and without looking up addressed the person in a cool monotone. [b][color=#114C8B]"Under the desk there. "[/color][/b] A young man with similarly dark hair wheeled in a large box that contained her drink fridge that perfectly under her desk where the young man quickly set it up. The two exchanged few words before he left and Nerina switched from removing her belongings from the back to making sure the fridge was set up correctly. She had cleared the presence of this with the school considering her particular needs. Everything seemed to be working correctly and she had packed it with water before putting it in the box so she wouldn't need to make any store runs for a few days. Perfect. Her side of the room was simple but elegant, on her desk was a small motorized fountain that sat on the opposite end from her laptop and school supplies. Not a pen was out of place, just how she liked it. Her clothes hung on a standing rack covered with a clear plastic cover and they were all organized in immaculately done rainbow order but also by clothing type and she made use of tiered hangers as well making the space overly efficient- if there was such a thing. For someone who dressed like she did it was a bit of a bizarre sight. All of her boots were shined and placed perfectly in line along the bottom and she made sure to measure perfectly to ensure equal distance between them. How she and Andy had survived in the same room much less as a couple for as long as they did was an absolute miracle. It wasn't that Andy was messy per se it was just that by Nerina's standards her side of the room was equivalent to a landfill. That wasn't to say Nerina had all bad memories of their time together or that she would turn down another chance should Andromeda apologize for her behavior. She thought fondly of her as she hung a beautiful painting of the pond the pair first met by up on the wall. It was the only gift Andy had made for her to survive the meltdown and she was glad to have it. Removing the sentimental value it tied her side of the room together visually quite nicely, the use of color was striking. That girl was an artistic genius but unfortunately for her she wasn't a proper genius. Smart yes, but Nerina never felt she was on her level. To be fair though, Nerina never saw anyone as on her level. Once finished she cracked open a bottle of water and quickly downed it. Two more were tossed into her bag and she called a ride share company to come pick her up and take her into the nearby town for the evening. She had a bit of shopping to finish up and she knew there was a mall and she had a few hours to kill. ------ The mall wasn't like the one she was used to shopping in but it wasn't too bad. She browsed a few shops, made a few purchases, then found a comfortable seat on a bench perfectly positioned for people watching. Anyone who seemed to be around her age she made note of and watched for a while, trying to pick up on any future classmates. She cracked open another bottle of water and sat there staring out over the mall from her little throne with a level of judgement.
