Desiree had noticed something a little bit over time about Agatha, and given the experience she had with people struggling with issues and being powered up, she took it upon herself again to resolve things. With the vast amount of varying crystals she had at her disposal from Chalcanthite’s office, she tinkered with a few different options and readied them to present to Agatha. While the base ring was the same, the colors of the crystals inlaid in the eyes of the skull were different for each iteration. It was a bit of trial and error to work with; she knew that, but at least it might get things headed in the right direction.

Carefully waiting until Liam and Aloysius were out of the manor, she walked down to Agatha’s room and knocked lightly. “Agatha, I’ve made you some things to try out. It might help you while out and about without being recognized.” Standing there patiently, she could hear the sound of a chair being pushed back and then footsteps.

Opening the door, Agatha looked out at Desiree, pleased with the fact that they were in their civilian form for the time being, as she was more used to it. It was still odd that the woman was also a cat, but otherwise they had the same personality and treated her the same as before.

Looking down at what Desiree had in their hands, she noticed the odd rings with different colors inlaid in each. “I see… and what are they?” Ushering them inside, Agatha sat at her vanity and watched for a moment as the woman set down each of the rings one by one next to her. As she picked them up, she could feel something odd about them, but otherwise they seemed normal enough to her.

“I know how you dislike being bothered, and with the fact that others might recognize you while powered up, I thought it would help if you looked as you do now while powered up as well,” said Desiree as she gestured to the rings. For a moment, Desiree stood there as a human before shrugging and letting her glamour disappear, and she stood much shorter and flicked her tail.

“I’ll cover your signature as you try them on, one at a time.” Giving Agatha a nod toward the rings, Desiree waited as she powered up and put one of them on. The first one, nothing seemed to happen. Not exactly; at least, there was a wobble over her at first, but then nothing.

The next one didn’t seem to do anything either, but Agatha frowned as she spoke. “I feel colder with this one on…” When she set it aside, Desiree hopped up onto the desk and pawed that one aside to look into for another application.

The third one felt odd at first, but as she turned to look towards the mirror, the face that stared back was her human glamor. “Oh.” Reaching out, she touched the surface of the mirror and traced her fingers along her reflection. There were cracks in her forehead and chest still, but otherwise she looked like Agatha, not Portia now. Some tension she hadn’t been cognisant of seemed to fade away, and she nodded. “This will do, thank you, Desiree.”
