Quote: Prompt 2 (Holiday Blues): One day, in the very early morning hours, a strange, bluish fog rolls in. It floats low to the ground and is incredibly dense and incredibly cold. Anyone who inhales even a single breath from this fog will be met with a sudden, harsh sensation of sadness. It’s the worst part of the holidays—the Holiday Blues. The fog slowly spreads through the town and is gone by mid afternoon, but the sensation of sadness, loneliness, and nostalgia may linger for longer than that. Scientists are explaining the bluish tint as just being a natural phenomenon, but in Destiny City, ‘natural’ isn’t really something anyone should expect. Today would have been a good day to stay inside. Clue took a look out at the window and could see that the blue fog was still out there. He didn't like it, and as much as he wanted to go out and investigate, he didn't want to get sucked into another fog-monster-survival-horror even if he had powers this time. And even if it didn't take them to a different world, it might still have something that was hiding in it that they rather not encounter. He couldn't help but let out a sigh as he turned back in towards the apartment as he looked to where New was. "Still foggy." He said as he moved over to sit next to New and put his arm around his shoulders. "Definitely don't want to go outside today." He would much rather be inside the warm apartment where they didn't have to worry about any weird shenanigans going on.

"No, I don't want to chance it either." Looking up from what he was going over on his laptop. "People online are saying it's harmless...at least in the usual sense." He stated as the other sat down, joining him on the couch, and slung an arm about his shoulders. Drawing Clue in closer, if it was at all possible, he laid his chin on the others shoulder gently.
"Mmm, some are saying people who were out in it was looking, and seeming, depressed suddenly. I'd rather avoid that, I dealt with that enough in school." Back home in Thailand...where everything had begun and ended as well, he'd run from there and here he was in Destiny City, so much had changed since then and most of it was for the better. He had stopped hiding who he was, or more importantly what he was interested in, since leaving Thailand and he was never going back to how depressed he had been back then - back home.
"I don't think I've seen any reports of monsters this winter, just super small spiders and the bunnies." Pressing his lips to the others cheek. "Why don't we relax and spend the day inside watching a drama, we can binge something." Because it was always a good day to watch a drama, but a whole day off? That was even better in New's opinion, especially when it was a whole day with his partner.

Clue couldn't help a small smile appearing on his face at New's suggestion. "That sounds good." He said before he blushed at the affection he was given. "You sure you don't want to do something else?" He said with a chuckle, teasing New. If there were no reports of monsters that was good. Even though they were a part of the Dark Mirror, they also got pulled into weird events. Most of the time anyway. He still felt as though they didn't really know what was going on, so being with New gave him a direction at least. If he was unsure about all of the magical stuff, then being with New grounded him more. "What were you thinking drama-wise?"

"If you want we could go out and do something, get something to eat or drink, there are plenty of options around here." Local to them there were several places they could go for food or drink, they'd picked an area to live with lots of options, it meant there was always something they could order out for if they didn't want to cook. There were also enough options so they wouldn't get bored.
"I was thinking of a drama I haven't seen yet, I think I heard one of the actors is new, I didn't want to look into the actors ahead of time." And potentially spoil things, if there were any actors he didn't like, he'd rather judge by the series and the chemistry between the actors in the series. Just because he didn't like an actor didn't meant he wouldn't eventually find a series that they did good in, because the chemistry was that good.
"My stand in, that's the name. I think it's like eight eps." He was fairly certain of that, though he could be wrong, it was still a really good plot and that was what mattered to him. "The plot is what matters though. It's a stunt double who finds themself the stand in for someone else romantically...and when he finds oiut he takes a job that gets him killed. Add in a case of rebirth, sort of, and they meet the person they'd been with again." And of course it would all work out in the end, somehow, it always did and that was what New liked so much. The relationships always worked out in the end, even if things were rough at points, and that was why he'd always been attracted to such series even when in high school. New had that crush on his friend, something he'd had to hide, and he had always hoped his life would turn out ike a boyslove drama. It had but just not in the way he'd wanted back then, though he was infinitly happier now. He hadnt round up with his crush, he'd even fled his home country, but he'd gotten together with another friend of his. Someone else who had joined in on the harassment he'd faced, after he'd accidentally outed himself to his crush, nothing he'd ever expected but he had his happy ending and while it wasn't the one he;d wanted back than he also wouldn't trade it for anything - ever.
"He gets a second chance." And that was what he liked, why he had a feeling he'd need a tissue box at some point, and he was sure Clue would know this all this as his partner knew him so well at this point. He hadn't hidden things from the other in a long time.

It wasn't a chill that ran though Clue's body, but more a sudden wave of shame that caused him to pause for a moment. He took a couple of deep breaths before he spoke again. "Yeah..." Was that really all he could say in the moment? He felt like apologizing again. Every time it came up, whether it was from New or something else. It was going to take quite some time to get over, or at least stop immediately feeling a bit depressed about what he did in the past. "Eight episodes? That's not bad." Especially for a drama series. Hopefully it wasn't going to stretch out too long until the main lover interests got together. He had seen some comics online that were over 100 chapters before a couple even got to kissing and it just felt like a waste to him. "I'll watch it. You want something to order so we can eat while watching it? I can order."

"No, eight eps isn't bad." Though he did sometimes wish the dramas were longer but most weren't, not in this genre anyway, and even more rare was a second season. It wws just how it went and Boonnam was used to it, whether he liked it or not, he knew books though could go on longer and be even more drawn out. There was only so drawn out that things could be in an eight, or even ten, episoide tv drama. But as he turned to look at the other he sighed, he knew that refrencing Thailand and what had happened bothered Clue, so he reached for the other annd yanked him in as close as possible and kissed the top of his head. "Stop thinking about Thailand." Because he knew the other waS.
"Ohh, food sounds good. We could order Thai, since it is a Thai drama, or maybe something else?" Plus Thai was what they made most of the time, and ordered majority of the time, it might be a good chance to order something else.
"We should also order something from a bakery." Because they could use a sweet treat to end their meal with, and there was no shortage of bakeries in the city. "Something not too sweet, not too much chocolate eiither."
