Exhausted.
That was a great word to describe her, but there she was nearby the Harbinger's zone trying to get those objectives done for them. Not unlike a lackey, but the word wasn't being tossed around by anyone so it was probably just her. She was moving along with her small list of questions when she came across a small little huddle of people. None of them looked all that unpleasant, though she couldn't quite...tell just by looking at them. Unlike her maybe they didn't all wear their hearts on their sleeve, and she made no effort in hiding the fact that her arm, which had thankfully started healing already, was still numb and useless. She even hard to write with her left hand, which was annoying because she wasn't ambidextrous.
She had to try though, so with a sigh she took a seat and joined them for however briefly, if they let her, and cleared her throat. "Hey guys, uh... if it's cool, could I maybe ask a few questions? Or..." and she paused, a bit nervously before moving to hand her little notepad and pencil to the girl on her left. "I can't really use my right hand--my dominant hand--so if you guys could maybe jot down your answer for me that'd be awesome?"
It was worth a shot, but she wasn't sure if any of them would be up for it. She could hope, though.

Monica grinned. The other girl had caught her at just the right time - her head was still hurting, after all, and she needed some place to sit down for a while. "I don't mind at all!" she said. "I like talking." Or writing things on paper. Either one of those was good.
She grabbed the pad of paper and a pen, and began writing her answers with care.

She took back her notepad with a grateful smile and started handing it to the next person when the girl asked if she could answer some questions, too.
"Sure, no problem," was Mel's reply, and she said and listened as she listed her own questions. The first one was a doozy but she rather liked challenging questions like that, at least more than the generic small talk like the everyday "how do you do"'s and such. She gave it some thought before answering, though her words came out slowly. "I think if I lost both my legs I'd be bummed about it for a while, but I'm not the most active person in the world so I think I'd eventually get used to it. I'd rather lose my legs than my eyes, though; not sure what I'd do if I couldn't marathon my favorite shows on Netflix anymore, assuming we get the service back if we get out of here."
Which was the answer to her next question, so she continued. "That's actually what I was doing when it happened. I was watching Criminal Minds."
She smiled and just for formality's sake decided to introduce herself. She did seem pretty nice, and she took the notepad first and without any complaints or grumbling. It was good to make new connections even in such a bleak world, and Mel was always happy to meet new people anyway. "I'm Mel, by the way..."
And she turned to the other two women to include them in her introduction as well. "Yeah, sorry. I totally blanked earlier. I'm Mel, by the way." She gave a weak sort of wave with her good hand, and smiled sort of sheepishly at them.

Mel gave really thorough answers - Monica had to admit she was impressed. She took the information down gladly, humming as she did so. "Ooh, that's smart. I'm glad you have hope that we'll get out." If they were going to be honest, so did Monica. But a lot of the people in the prison faction seemed to find that optimism stupid. Well, she'd sure show them.
"Oh! I can't believe I did all of that without introducing myself! I'm Monica." She grinned at all three of the other women.

"You're welcome. The same to you, It's good to know you're not alone. in some aspects, other people might be the reason you survive." Gretel the silver hair girl with grey eyes replied. She seemed composed and cool but generally friendly.
She thought a while, then nodded at Mel's suggestion. She hadn't take her stuff from Rebecca yet, but she was carrying a notepad and a pen with her. Since she wrote something in it for what she heard at the radio tower, she flipped it to the last page before she asked her questions.
"Mel, describe a bit of yourself and I'd like to know what you think is more important to you - knowledge or physical power and why?" Being a girl with low physical strength, she would like to know how others think about it.
She turned to another girl, "Since you're here, if you can get your hand on a weapon of your choice, what would it be?" The chubby girl with dark skin looked cheerful and amiable, Gretel guessed she won't mind answering.
Finally, she looked at the girl never talked, the one looked like a greenhouse flower, delicate and grew up with love. "If you don't mind, talk about your family and what would you do if you were rescued?"

"Thanks," she said as she was handed back her notepad with the questions mostly filled out. She didn't mind that some weren't; she knew that she'd jotted down some more personal questions, and not everyone was interested in sharing. She tucked it away, along with the pencil, as the Gretel started to ask some questions as well, followed by the last girl (whose name she didn't quite catch if it was shared at all).
"Mm...I'm not really sure how to describe myself? I'm pretty average," she started, eyes looking toward Gretel as she was answering her question first. "I guess I'm a little quirky, moody. My friends used to say I was sensitive and cry easily, but I so do not." She sounded more like she was trying to convince herself of this, though. "As for which is better...I'd say it really depends on the situation. Obviously brawn isn't gonna do you any good if you're playing chess, and likewise being brainy wouldn't be too much help in gladiatorial combat. Still, if I really had to pick I'd go with...knowledge, because you can apply it to a whole lot of situations, including fights. I will add on that you'd also have to know what to do with that knowledge, otherwise it's just facts rattling in your brain."
Moving on, she faced the last girl and pointed at the hilt of the knife she had tucked away safely in a makeshift scabbard. "I've got a knife right now, but I'm not sure I'd call it my weapon of choice. Ideally I'd like some that doesn't make me have to touch those disgusting things. Maybe like a gun or something?"
Hopefully that helped them out a bit with their own research, or if not was just a good way to pass the time.

Monica was a little dizzy, but she waited patiently through the exchange of information. "Ooh! Me? I think...I think my weapon of choice is a car," she giggled. "I know it's a pipe dream in these conditions, but - driving is easy for me, and I think it keeps me safely in the vehicle, away from the infected." She paused. "But recently I got ahold of a fishing rod, and I'm pretty satisfied with that."
The other girl - Jane? - looked a bit nervous. That was all right. Monica tilted a smile over at her. It did seem like it'd be better to ask less probing questions, so Monica flipped her notepad to a new page and listened.
"All right, um. Gretel? Do you wanna describe your family to me? And...Jane. How would you describe yourself?"
Then she turned to Mel, just for formality's sake. "I hate to say this, but i-it's been bugging me, and...you actually look a little familiar to me." Had they known each other before this? Obviously not by name, but...

Ok.....the shy one, Jane was as she expected. Gretel silently jotted notes for her answer and added, "Hope you can find your dog then." Short answer got short reply, that was her practice. "Get a nice bath," Gretel stressed.
Quirky? Gretel looked at Mel. She didn't see that on her so it's a fun point to note, she twisted her pen when the girl talked. "Being sensitive might mean you can feel the others better, that's not only a bad thing." She adjusted her lavender-colored glasses and nodded, "A wise pick. Sometimes strategy couldn't work without the help of strength, like setting up traps. Similarly, an opponent with huge strength could be defeated by strategies." What she still not realized was that she would prove her words on her way back to zone one later. Being able to analyze under situations was an important asset. Moreover, she approved of Mel's choice of weapon, if you are physically weak, you won't want to give a chance for those things to touch you.
She gave Monica a look for her reply, wondering the chance to get a working car. It was safe but its mobility was only slightly better than a house. Besides if the glasses are broken or run out of fuels, she would trap herself in it. "I understand, that's an interesting idea." It seemed two already got their hands on the weapons, was she just unlucky. The question the girl with big eyes asked was a bit personal, but she guessed she can say superficial things. "They're both business people, living far from here. I'd say a bit strict than normal family but they're caring in general."
Different types of people got a different answer, she checked what she wrote down and thought it would be enough. She also had rested enough, it's time to move on. "Alright, I've to meet up with my group, thanks for helping, see you all around." She mildly waved before she walked away.
Sweet~! I think that about wraps the interviews! Exit posts can happen, or more interaction, whichever you guys prefer! But at this point the objective could be considered complete~ ^^
