As you walk down the snowy streets of the Keinuka town you see a small, wooden, two storey house which is not painted but has wonderful carvings of flowers on and around the wooden door. Inside the house there is a large living room with a fireplace with a stairs going upwards and a kitchen to the right.
Upstairs there are three rooms, one is Marfa's room, her parents room and a small room used as a store room and Flinky's and Steel's sleeping place.

Steels past:
Steel walked along the white snow proudly, another race won, three in a row already, Steel didn't care if the other dogs hated him for it, at least his was first and the best. A proud human walked up to him and put a collar on his neck, a weird ribbon holding a shiny ring, and Steel puffed his chest up with pride.
As he trotted along to his home he saw a half wolf sitting on a barrel grinning at him, Steel opened his mouth and was about to raise the alarm when the wolf jumped of the barrel and headed towards him, Steel closed his mouth as the half wolf came closer, it was a black and young half wolf, about his own age.
When the half wolf came close enough and began to speak, "I watched your race, won a again, hu?"
Steel saw this half wolf before and was in a fight with it when he was a pup, since then it seemed to watch his every race and kept silent as the wolf continued, "dogs are easy to out run but since I'm both, wolf and dog, so how about a race?"
Steel never said no to a race, he didn't want to look weak, and even if he did loose this race none of his fellow dogs would find out, nor believe a half wolf, "okey" said Steel proudly and the half wolf smiled, "it shall go into the forest, over the lake and around the dead oak, then back."
Steel nodded, the lake was frozen now but if the half wolf might go over it then he could.
The half wolf sprang into position and ran with its paws pounding the snowy earth and Steel sprang after it, gaining up. The half wolf didn't seem to be trying hard and when they were on the outskirts Steel was in the lead with the half wolf not far behind. They raced through the snowy forest and Steel was still first, striding proudly. They ran and ran and when they reached the pond Steel sprang on it, and was surprised by how slippery it was and fell on his side. As he turned his head to look back the half wolf stood smiling on the lakes side and turned around to leave as Steel was sliding to the other side of the lake.
"I'll kill him when I get out of here!" growled Steel and turned his head back round to see were he was sliding and to his fear he was sliding towards a bear fishing with its cub through a hole in the frozen lake! Steel couldn't stop himself from sliding because the ice was too slippery and slid right towards it, the bear roared with fear for its cub and the last thing Steel saw was a bear paw coming towards him and then blackout.

Steel opened his eyes, at first he saw nothing but blackness but in a few seconds his eyesight cleared and he saw he was lying on his mat at home, was it all just a dream? Steel tried to stand up but couldn't because every part of his body hurt. Steel only then noticed that his vision was a bit reddish and he lowered his gaze to his fore paws and whimpered with what he saw.
There were weird metal rings on his paws but only in a few minutes he understood that they were his paws, with much pain Steel stood up and limped towards a large mirror in the house and looked in and tears began rolling from his real eye.
Half his muzzle was covered in metal and his paws, his shoulder was covered in a slab of metal too. . .

Shela and I are making to be great friends, I wonder why that wolf Rayse and her pack dislikes her. . . I think were more then friends because she said shes having a littler! My litter too! It was the first time I really smiles with happiness after 'the axcident' I hope it will be soon! She doesn't talk much and walks slowly not to get into any fights or so and espesially she avoids the forest since Rayse and the foxes can be there and attack her, I don't care about my promise now, not to harm a living creature any more, if they attack Shela I fight back with all my strenghth.
Steel

I saw two wolves in our town today! I think it were the same wolves I saw injured in the forest, I had to do my job and raise the alarm and then fight them but Steel (and the female half wolf) grabbed my collar to stop me! I wonder why he did it, defend the wolves and why is he always with Shela?
