I have been to Spokane and Seattle and Monroe. I think this is a beautiful state.

I've been here for most of my life. Hated it at first. sweatdrop Then, realized how beautiful it really was. I was born in Kentucky, so it was quite an experience going directly from there to this state. wink I live next to a pretty large bay, we have beautiful sunsets, mountains, the wildlife's amazing, and there's lots of outdoor stuff you can do. I've also been on the eastern side, and they have a different feel. I hated that area at first, too. rolleyes All those wheat fields! But, it also grew on me. xp Sorry, if this was too long. razz

I moved to Washington about a year and a half ago. Starting to get used to it, kinda. xD I live in a bay side town, so it's really nice being near the water. :]

I live in Seattle and I love it!! I adore the weather, the city and all the amazing outdoors activities you can do both in city and just outside of it.
I'm not keen on the east side of the state, I'm not one for desert!

Yeah, not a big fan of the desert, but certainly do enjoy being so near the water! Also, it's a great place for taking care of our little boy! mrgreen

Sorry... That was just me. Reacting to actually meeting other Washingtonians on Gaia. I've lived here all my life, and like a few in this thread... I didn't really like it at first. Too rainy. But now... I realize it is that rain which gives us the life that flourishes all around. We are truly gifted with a beautiful place on this Earth. I live in Bremerton gonk , and don't really like alot of the people here. Wannabe "gangstas" galore. But I've managed to make a few good friends here. About five years ago, I lived in Yelm. Not very many, even Washington natives, are familiar with that town. It's near Lacey, surrounded by forest and fairly close to Mt. Rainier. If any of you would like to get to know me, feel free to PM and add any time!

I live in Spokane just below dog town you might say upper canine terrace, went to High School in Seattle many many moons ago. I went to Junior High in Kennewick, Washington, but before that the schooling was all over the world. My first car was a Model A Ford hot rod, the second car I bought was a 1959 Corvet, I still have the hot rod, but I traded the Vet for an XK 150. For those who do not know that term, it was a Jag,
PS: I have met 5 people who live in Spokane who use Gaia every now and then. By the way, they are all over the age of 25.

I've been to Seattle a few times. I loved it each time. And I have a friend who lives in the Kennewick/Pasco area and she likes it there.

well i was born in towson,maryland and was rised there until about 6 then we DROVE to washington to live in deerpark i lived there for 10 more years then move to elk stayed there for 2 years and now im in spokane and have been living here almost 3 years to be honest deerpark was okish but spokane is way better i like city alot more ya know.

I grew up in Oregon but after I got a job I realized how much Oregon takes from you in Income tax. I moved across the boarder and been happy right over the bridge ever since! One thing in Oregon I used to take for granted was the beautiful view of Mt Hood. You don't really get to much of a view where Im at now.

I was born and raised in Western Washington, mostly in the Tacoma area. It's home. It's where my huge family is, where my favorite trails and forest areas are, beautiful green scenery everywhere, welcoming attitudes towards the Different and Unique, wonderful community events, my favorite mystical shops and my huge favorite... THE ZOOOOOOO! They're adding an open ocean aquarium and I'm just so excited! I don't have kids either, so I get all the dippin dots to myself 4laugh
I moved to Eastern Washington in 2009, when I was 19. HATED it there. Too dry, way too hot (112°F), too conservative and I was unkindly treated for being a person of color and part of the lgbtq+ community on a daily basis. Nearly beaten, in fact, every time I left the house without my boyfriend at the time. However, I LOVED that delicious donut shop, Spudnuts, and Dutch Bros. made great iced chai tea. I lived in Richland and Kennewick for 5 years.
I moved back to Western Washington in 2014 and have been here ever since. Ahhh... my roots! I love the weather, the people and the activities. Traffic is awful, but I don't drive. I'm pretty close to most fun stuff, so I walk or use public transportation.
