Volume 1 (Operation: Gald City)-->Available
In the near future, the planet is run by a federation of twelve powerful corporations. Amid the general populous are psychics ? metahumans capable of converting thought into energy. Known as "E's", these outcasts wield the power to control the world... or to save it!
A military contractor has put together an elite special forces team of E?s called AESES to bring about law and order. But when Kai is sent to wipe out an anti-corporate guerilla outfit from the slum town Gald, he discovers not all is as it seems.
Episode 1: We first meet Kai as he is awakening from the slumber. We get introduced to all of the members of Kai's new team. We learn a little bit about the Ashrum. Shen-lon and Kai get into a little tif about who has better powers. We learn that Kai's sister is being treated by doctors there. We watch all of the trainees go through training before becoming full-fledged members. Kai also gets his 1st mission. He goes alone after a renegade cop killer. Shen-lou throws Kai a party for his 1st anniversay of being there. We find out that Kai doesn't like sweets. We learn things about the "real reason"(supposedly) of why Kai is there. We see what Ashrum does behing closed doors.
Episode 2: This is where we first meet Yuki. Some guy is trying to hit him and we see Yuuki is a force to be reckoned with. We learn that Yuuki does odd ball jobs for money. Maria's "grandfather" offers Yuuki a job he can't resist. On the other side, Kai and Shen-lon are battling it out. They find finally get a mission as a group. Ofcourse Shen-lon argues Eiji's judgement of letting Kai go. Kai visits his sister and tells Eiji he will not use the gun he was given. On the plane to Gald, Kai asks about Shin-lu's past at Gald. He talks about his kindness, and ofcourse this angers Shen-lon. At the end Kai finds out that Ashurum lied, they didnt clear out the civilians. He finds this out when he saves Yuuki from falling debris.
Episode 3: Kai wants to check to see if there are any more civilains. Ruri goes with him. He finds a little girl in a burning building. He brings her out and leaves Ruri to watch her. A showdown comes about while Kai is gone. *SpoilerRuri is shot.* Kai sulks about his ability. Shin-lu goes on with the mission and takes everyone down until Maria's grandfather uses his ability to hurt Shin-lu's mind. Because of the connection they have as siblings, Shen-lon feels it too. He transports himself to where his sister is and takes her back. Kai arrives after sensing something is wrong. Shen-lon and Kai battle. After awhile, Shen-lon takes out the place, leaving Kai hurt. This is where Maxim becomes awakened. At the end we see Asuka. She is talking to animals and learns that there is someone there. They leave off with her seeing Kai facedown in the water.
Episode 4: Asuka tries to take Kai back on her own but cant. Kai wakes up in Yuuki and a Dr.'s care. Yuuki is ready to shoot if Kai makes any sudden moves. They talk and then Asuka comes in. She sees Yuuki holding a gun at Kai and she runs over to see if Kai is ok. Kai is still sick so he is put back to bed. Eiji and Shen-Lon talk about what went down in Gald. Ofcourse Shen-Lon is more concerned about his sister. Eiji visits Hikaru and lies to her about Kai. Eiji sends Maxim off to find the guerilla mind reader. Maxim tries to gain the trust of Maria. Kai tries to leave to get help from Ashurum. Asuka finds him and he lies and says he is going out for a stroll. They talk underneath the stars. Later she takes him the way out of Gald, but he decides to stay. Yuuki says he can stay, so ofcourse Asuka is happy.
Episode 5: Maxim shows off his powers, by "killing the Ashurum spy." Kai is woken up by a scratching kitten. He goes to the kitchen and sees Asuka trying to make breakfast. The cats are eating the spilled eggs, and Kai saves her from having spilled milk on her hands. He learns that Asuka can't cook. They head into town to buy eggs. Asuka buys both of them ice cream, but ofcourse Kai doesn't eat his. Asuka is a little upset that Kai didn't tell her that he didn't like sweets. She tells him that he should be more honest. She holds his hand and tells him that she can feel what everyone feels when she does this. They head back and find Yuuki cooked an awesome meal. Kai sees Yuuki after the meal. Yuuki asks what he can do. After learning this he decides that Kai can be put to good use on jobs to help earn his keep. Kai has another self when he and Yuuki do a job. After the job, Kai questions why Yuuki does these things, especially without telling Asuka. They get into a heated discussion until Asuka blows the kitched up. Kai walks in there, still dressed up and Asuka doesn't know who it is. Kai runs to his room and Yuuki laughs. Kai ponders about what Yuuki and Shen-lon have said. Asuka dresses up in a dress at the end, the one Yuuki bought her for her birthday.
Volume 2 (Mindbender)--> Available
Enter a world where every thought wields terrifying energy, and any life can be viciously wasted in the pursuit of power! When one of Ashurum's prized psychic agents goes missing, no cost is too high to return him to their dark fold - whether that means sending in a cyborg assassin, reprogramming one of his friends, or enlisting two newer, even more powerful psychics into the company.
Episode 6: Asuka is cooking out on the grill since the kitchen is still being remodeled. Yuuki gets another assignment. He thinks this one is going to be easy until he finds out the thing they are after is a Branded. They end up having to fight it. Kai is able to get the arm in which the weapon is attached to, off. He goes up to it and sees it's going to explode. He puts a barrier up. Yuuki gets a hurt shoulder. Asuka decides to cook all the meals while Yuuki is hurt.
Episode 7: Yuuki and Kai are on another job. This time its to catch the Purple Mask from stealing a comic book at the library. Yuuki's detective friend comes and begs for 20% if he helps. They learn the Purple Mask is a psychic. Kai doesnt use his powers to help capture the theif. Asuka is at the library, as well, looking for cookbooks.
Episode 8:Interlude: Ramen Noodles! First Asuka, Yuuki and Kai recap on what has happened. Then Yuuki has Kai deleting information from computers. He keeps on hitting Kai over the head with his Shaman wand. Asuka comes home and fixes coffee, well what she calls coffee. They decide to go into town. Asuka gets Kai some new clothes. Before heading back they eat at the popular Gald Ramen. Yuuki hates the place and decides to make his own. He has Kai gather the hard ingredients. Ofcourse Yuuki's taste better. Asuka ends up blowing up the shop.
Episode 9: Leonid has a job for Yuuki. A client of his wants to find the lady that was at the casino the night Yuuki and Kai were. After a long discussion Yuuki agrees to it. He has to convince Kai to become his other self again, though. Kai finally gives in. He goes out on a date with the man, Asuka follows to make sure Kai is fine. Kai learns that the man is a broker. Kai helps the man escape from the police. The man wants Kai's hand in marriage whenever Ashurum is no longer in control of Gald.
Episode 10: Shin-Lu is finally awake. She goes through another brainwashing. Shen-Lon doesn't like the way his sister is acting because she is acting totally different. Shen-Lon and Shin-Lu have been reassigned to Maxim's group, which includes Sherry and Kyou. Their assignment is to capture Erimiya. Yuuki and Kai are the "Santa Claus" to all the children on Gald. The presents are actually flower bulbs.
Volume 3 (Headspin)--> Available
The mind can be a terrible thing, and in this case, it can be deadly. When a crack team of powerful psychic mutants, known as AESES, is formed to maintain peace and order, will the E?s use their powers to save the world, or to conquer it?
Episode 11: Kai and Yuuki get a request for a bodyguard. Some kid wants them to be his bodyguard while he is in Gald. Dzhyuma, the client, is doing research on pshycics. His adopted father owns a company which makes anti-psychic weapons. Yuuki doesn't want to take the job, but Kai accepts it. Dzhyuma falls in love with Asuka.
Episode 12: Dzhyuma uses Kai as research. Kai thinks that Dzhy hates psychics, but he actually admires them. Asuka and Dzhy go on a date, but Kai and Yuuki go with them. Dzhy makes a different "weapon" for psychics. When Kai and Yuuki are attacked, Yuuki goes all out with the "weapon." Meanwhile, Dzhy and Asuka are fired at. Kai and Yuuki take care of them. Kai finally feels the full weight of the side effects of the "weapon." He is told to eat sweets to bring his blood sugar back. At the end of this epidose there is a question left unanswered. Is Asuka a psychic since she saw Maria when Maria was using her powers?
Episode 13:
Volume 4 (Suffer the Children)--> Available [eps 15-18]
When Kai vanishes before Asuka's very eyes, he finds himself in a strange sanctuary filled with psychics very much like himself - psychics being used and manipulated by powerful players. But these gifted mutants are different. Why? Because these psychics are children. Small children capable of extreme power are being restrained and trained as weapons by a corrupt Cardinal who plans on taking his own holy war to the streets. But the Cardinal is not willing to give up his children - or Kai - so easily.
Meanwhile, Maxim uses Maria to get closer to Asuka. Having realized that the gentle, innocent Asuka is a psychic of incredible power, Maxim unleashes his own sadistic senses to ensnare the girl.
Volume 5 (Sacrament of Calvaria) [Available](eps 19-23)
With Raphael and the rest of the children set free from the sinister clutches of Giberini and his church, better known as "paradise," Kai embarks on the next phase of this mission. He is off to find the secret of the Sacrament of Calvaria, but he is not alone in his quest. Yuuki, Maria, and Asuka are also in on the hunt, and following them are Sherry and Kyou, along with Maxim. Oh yeah, and let's not forget the guerillas.
Meanwhile, Shen-lon is starting really freak about what has happened to his sister, Shin-lu, and her "strengthening procedure." He is frantically trying to find answers and seems to be getting help from a most unusual accomplice.
Back at Ashurum, Eiji is realizing that he might have his hands a bit too full. Things are starting to come to a head, and with this many psychics involved it can only mean one thing: things are gonna get worse before they can get better.

His demeanor is very kind and he doesn?t want to hurt or kill people with his powers. He has a strong sense of responsibility and justice and he always tries to do what is right. His power is potentially as strong as Hikaru (his little sister). He speaks in a fairly polite tone even when in formal situations. Kai is one of those good guys that everyone loves. His stomach doesnt mix well with sweets. He is one of those people who dont like to use violence. He is blinded by his kindness. He thinks that everyone will thank him for his kindness, he gets proven wrong in the first DVD. After the first DVD he is living with Yuuki and actually works for his keep. He proves to be a great help for Yuuki.
-Hikaru Kudou ? played by Danielle Kimball - Hikaru is Kai?s little sister. Her age is roughly 8 or so. She is always sick and in the hospital. She is not conscious of the strength of her powers. She speaks like a normal little girl (no sudden shifts in speech) Not much is know about her in the series yet. She thinks of Eiji is a "big brother" type figure. She thinks the world of her older brother Kai. She believes Eiji's lies of where and what her brother is doing
-Maria ? played by Christine Auten - Maria is a psychic that works with the Gald guerillas. She is a very kind person who is dedicated to her cause. She really hates Ashurum and all that it stands for. She speaks with a bit (but not a huge amount) of an air of superiority (and never to Erimiya). She doesnt appear alot in the series yet but she is very kind. She and Yuuki are working together sometimes to bring down Ashurum. She is a worthy member of the guerilla group.
-Ruri What can I say about Ruri? Not much. She is only in there for the first volume of E's. She is very kind. She may be in the background but she is pretty cool. She is very loyal to Ashurum. (The reason she isnt in there more is that she dies while Kai is getting a girl he saved some water.)
-Maxim ? played by Jason Miesse - Maxim is a very powerful psychic who is loyal to AESES and Eiji. Not a very nice person and very willing to kill if need be. He has a definite air of superiority about him. He speaks quietly and in a fairly straight-forward manner.Maxim is Eiji's lapdog so to speak. He goes and sets himself into the guerilla. He is told not to harm Kai if they meet. He looks very prim and proper but its known that he is a fierce and brutal "warrior"
-Asuka Tokugawa ? played by Hilary Haag - Asuka is Yuuki?s adopted sister. She is a psychic; though she does not realize it (she can ?understand? the feelings of animals and people). She is a very caring person and tends to stray animals (and sometimes people). She is not very observant but not stupid. She speaks like your average teenage girl, though she tends towards the polite side of things.Asuka loves animals. She rescues injured animals. She brings them home all of the time. Once Kai starts to live with her and Yuuki, she begins to want to impress Kai. She isnt very good in the kitchen so she sometimes winds up blowing things up. In the 3rd volume we begin to learn that she has a psychic ability.
-Sherry - We are first introduced to her in the 3rd volume. I dont know alot about her yet so I cant say much. She is in with Maxim's little gang.
-Eiji Sagimiya ? played by Jay Hickman - Eiji is a high-ranking official in Ashurum, and could possibly be the mastermind behind devious goings-on. He is always kind and polite in public or to character?s faces. He won?t hesitate to sacrifice people if the need arises. His speaks in a semi-formal manner to the AESES recruits, and formally for the conferences. Eiji is like the father of the group. He brings psychics out of their "brainwashing" when they are needed. He seems very compassionate towards Kai and his little sister. He has other things in mind that are not known yet. He is very mysterious in some ways.

He speaks in a tough guy manner for the most part.Yuuki is the street kid who is very rich and mannered like. He works very hard to keep money for him and Asuka. He keeps Kai under his wing and they work together in odd jobs. He is very kind eventhough he acts stuck up sometimes.

He feels superior to most, and is fairly angry. He hates Kai because of his sister?s feelings towards him. He speaks in an extremely straight-forward and informal (kind of a young tough feel) manner. He speaks respectfully to Eiji (who he respects greatly). Shen-Lon is the younger of the twins but he acts like the big brother. He is very protective of his sister. He takes his anger for Kai out in violence every time they meet. One reason why I think Shen-Lon hates Kai is because he is Eiji's favorite and Kai gets better treatment in some ways. He has a very stron bond with his sister. After Shin-Lu's accident and treatment, Shen-Lon begins to feel like he doesnt know his sister anymore.

Her personality shifts throughout. She is fairly informal (i.e. relaxed/familiar levels) and semi- polite. Shin-Lu is the bubbly girl. She likes Kai and she even bakes a cake for him. Once she has her psychic accident, she is like re-programmed into someone totally different in a way.
Kyou-->He is a groupie of Maxim's. He likes to joke around alot. He is like Shen-Lon in a wierd way because he is all the time wanting to show off his powers.

His demeanor is very kind and he doesn?t want to hurt or kill people with his powers. He has a strong sense of responsibility and justice and he always tries to do what is right. His power is potentially as strong as Hikaru (his little sister). He speaks in a fairly polite tone even when in formal situations. Kai is one of those good guys that everyone loves. His stomach doesnt mix well with sweets. He is one of those people who dont like to use violence. He is blinded by his kindness. He thinks that everyone will thank him for his kindness, he gets proven wrong in the first DVD. After the first DVD he is living with Yuuki and actually works for his keep. He proves to be a great help for Yuuki. -Hikaru Kudou ? played by Danielle Kimball - Hikaru is Kai?s little sister. Her age is roughly 8 or so. She is always sick and in the hospital. She is not conscious of the strength of her powers. She speaks like a normal little girl (no sudden shifts in speech) Not much is know about her in the series yet. She thinks of Eiji is a "big brother" type figure. She thinks the world of her older brother Kai. She believes Eiji's lies of where and what her brother is doing -Maria ? played by Christine Auten - Maria is a psychic that works with the Gald guerillas. She is a very kind person who is dedicated to her cause. She really hates Ashurum and all that it stands for. She speaks with a bit (but not a huge amount) of an air of superiority (and never to Erimiya). She doesnt appear alot in the series yet but she is very kind. She and Yuuki are working together sometimes to bring down Ashurum. She is a worthy member of the guerilla group. -Ruri What can I say about Ruri? Not much. She is only in there for the first volume of E's. She is very kind. She may be in the background but she is pretty cool. She is very loyal to Ashurum. (The reason she isnt in there more is that she dies while Kai is getting a girl he saved some water.) -Maxim ? played by Jason Miesse - Maxim is a very powerful psychic who is loyal to AESES and Eiji. Not a very nice person and very willing to kill if need be. He has a definite air of superiority about him. He speaks quietly and in a fairly straight-forward manner.Maxim is Eiji's lapdog so to speak. He goes and sets himself into the guerilla. He is told not to harm Kai if they meet.
