| Introduction |

Once a month Katherdante enters the cave of creation and from an interaction of the two's powers energetic winged orbs appear. These orbs named "switches" are intelligent and eager to become like the one it bonds to. Each switch is unique and they are created in limited sets. Once a switch has been created another just like it will never come again.

As time passes they have the opportunity to learn and evolve; up to ten stages. As it evolves it picks up traits from its parent, animals and colors it was exposed to as a switch ball. Its evolution can stop at any point as its parent/guardian decides. Each switch develops its own unique powers, abilities and interests and uses these skills as it goes through adventures in the role-play we have created. The role-play is based on dice rolling and random/special events set up by our game crew.

A switches final form is not the end!
This is the time where they reach full maturity and
are able to choose a mate and start their own family.

Switch shown to the right is the final form of Platinum, the first switch.

| Bidding Rules |

- Follow Gaia Online TOS etc.
- Follow General Thread Rules

- Do not discourage others from bidding
- Be polite to bumpers, Switch Crew and each other

- No retracting bids once they have been placed
- Never bid items or gold amounts you do not have

- If you bid/auto buy with an item/s use inventory display to show the item/s
- If bidding an item that is not an auto buy always state its mid-range worth in gold

- PMing Bids is against the rules and will therefore be IGNORED
- Make sure you completely fill out and submit the required form when posting your first bid

We reserve the right to add to or revise the rules at anytime if the need arises.

| Gift Switch Information |

| What is a Gift Switch? |

Once a year, Christmas month to be exact, we
place a Switch with a loving owner for no cost.

| Who can be a GS candidate? |

Only those who could never own a Switch otherwise.
The poor, the new to Gaia etc.

| How is the winner chosen? |

Like people participating in the auction you must prove
that you have the RP experience and time to handle a Switch.

Step 1
&&&&Fill out a "GS Application".
&&&&PM Katherdante to have one sent to you.

Step 2
&&&&Help bump the Auction Thread each month.
&&&&This is a great opportunity to hang
&&&&out with us so we get to know you!

Step 3
&&&&Spend some time NPCing in the Switch
&&&&Guild. The more you participate the
&&&&better your chances for being picked
&&&&to parent your very own switch!

&&&&You also may be asked to be a permanente
&&&&NPC for someone's switch, which can be
&&&&very fun as well!

Step 4
&&&&During December we will interview all
&&&&those still interested in owning their
&&&&own Switch and have done steps 1-3.

&&&&The crew will discuss and think about it.
&&&&If a vote is a tie or we just cannot pick
&&&&we will use a number randomizer to pick
&&&&the winner and proud new parent of a Switch.

&&&&If you do not win a Switch the first time
&&&&of course you can be considered again!

&&&&If you do win a GS you are not eligible for
&&&&another GS ever again. That would not be fair.

&&&&There are extra activities you and your GS can do
&&&&to help alleviate the costs of evolving your Switch.
