Welcome to the Hawaiian Christmas In July Charity Ball Planning Thread!! We are here to raise money to donate to Charities... And quests!! Unlike most Charity Balls, we here at the HCJCB are going to donate our earnings to Charities and Quests. But we are looking for certain qualities in these threads. There will be a post dedicated to Charities and Quests run by myself and -=Har!ey=-. People will have a form to fill out and so on. It sounds a lot harder than it is... We will have a give-away and contests. Tons of fun for the whole family!! Currently we are setting up, so please be patient with us as things can get confusing. ^.^
To buy a ticket or donate, please send trade to Hawaiian Gurlie1. She is the mule for this Charity Ball. If you have any questions, please PM her.

Rules For Planning Thread
1. Please do NOT PM Skyline994, -=Har!ey=-, or Sapphire Raz. All PM's sent to us will be ignored. Send a PM to the mule for questions.
2. Please do not advertise. There is a difference between posting Charities and Quests for eligibility and plain old advertising.
3. To attend the ball, you do not need a ticket. But to be eligible for prizes, you do. Please remember that.
4. Please do not bring your drama here. Leave it at the door.
5. No being mean to people. Joking around is one thing, being plain ole rude and inconciderate is another...
6. Follow the Gaia ToS. All Gaia rules will be enforced
7. No cybering. There is a point where you stop.
8. No long quotes. It drives Sky up the wall...
9. We pertain the right to add any rules as we see fit at any time.
10. The Mods that we allow have the right to ban anyone they see breaking these rules.
11. Dont Quote Off The First Page

Breaking these rules can get you added to the Blacklist. Please follow them so everyone can have a good time.

Ticket Information!

Purchasing a ticket:
To purchase a ticket, please send a trade with 400 Gold to Hawaiian Gurlie1. We will confirm your trade and add your name to a list. Also, please title the trade "Hawaiian Charity Ball Ticket". Otherwise we will think it is a donation and add your name to the donators list. After you have confirmed the trade, you will be PMed a ticket to put in your signature.

What having a ticket means:
Buying a ticket to the Ball means that you will be eligible to recieve a prize. The prizes can be anything from something worth 200g+. Anyone can attend the ball. You do not need a ticket to post.

What proceeds from tickets will be used for:
The gold we receive from tickets will be used to buy items to give away as prizes. But most of the gold will be donated to Quests and Charities. To nominate a Charity or Quest, please refer to post #8 or #9. Thank you

Currently, the hosts are looking for artists who would be interested in drawing random people during the actual ball. Any artists who would be interested, please pm any of us and let us know if you are interested. All artists get their admission waved and will get PMed a free ticket.

(Please out of respect, do not PM any of the artists asking for art. See if they have an art shop in the Request and Commision forums. If we hear that someone PMed asking for free art or anything else inconsiderate or rude, the person will be added to the blacklist and banned from the ball.)

WARNING: Skyline is no good at art. She made one, yes ONE semi-good headshot. But during the ball I might attempt to make a few more. If I see an avi that sparks my interests... But, as I said, WARNING- BAD AVI ART. But at least you'll be able to say that you were one of the special ones ^.^ Or I might also do crappy little name things. I can do those. ^.^ But yeah, warning!! ninja

If you would like to nominate your quest or someone elses quest, please copy the following information into a post. Thank you
When the ball is over, we will select questors who we feel deserve a donation. Not every quest will be picked. We can't donate to everyone. We are not a full-time charity, just a ball. Sorry, and thank you again.

Rules For Quest Eligibility
1. The quest must be over 1 month old
2. The quest must be for an item over 60k
3. The person questing must have at least 10-20% of the item price.
4. The person questing must have over 600 posts.
5. More Rules can be added at any time.

Mod List

We will be adding people to this list slowly. These will be people who are trustworthy and honest. These people will be around the ball enforcing rules, blacklisting people if they must, and so on. Ball Mods are to be respected as if they were the Ball Hosts. If a person is asked to be a Ball Mod, their ticket will be free also.
