: Syrie is Veloren's guardian, caring for the young lykin and seeing that he has what he needs.
A common red-kitsune, or fox-demon, Syrie is highly empathic and is able to manipulate plant matter in many ways. He's also a rather unwitting medium of sorts - for some reason he's been regarded as an amplifier for "talents of the Other realm"; though he himself really doesn't possess many abilities. He's a hack artist and writer, spends much of his time working for one shop or another - typically with the beasts of the shops as he's able to communicate with them.
He's also Chavi's harem-fox, and Asher's pet.

Woke up to a note pinned on the studio door from Chavi. Groggy as hell, I just set it down until I had my morning tea - of course, Uisce had some too, and then tried reading what the note said. His attempts were in vain.

Finished tea, got ready for work, then recalled the note.

Proceeded to grab Uisce and dance around like an idiot for well over five minutes. Realized I'd be late for work, but had to stop and pick up the lykin waiting for me, so called ahead.

Picked up the little bit of candyfluff - first thought: "He's so...cute Oo."
second and third thoughts involved something I'm not certain is legal - as the little blighter sashayed out to stand beside me.

Seal-point siamese coloring, cute barely there stripes - punky-choppy pink hair and pink eyes... cute enough to eat, and then that outfit! I can't believe Chavi let him pick out his own clothes! A vinyl collar with a heart on it, babydoll tee, and fishnets! fishnets!

Heaven and hell all at once. He doesn't even look legal. I bet if his hair were in pigtails, he'd look even younger. Stares even there at Chavi's place - I could feel the eyes. Caused my tail to poof.

Made mental note to get him a weapon to fend off molestors, thanked Chavi, and trawled off to work with Veloren beside me. Am fairly certain everyone thought I had a girl trailing behind me. Veloren seems amused when people mistake his gender, I would be too if I were him. More lacivious stares - MUST get that mallet!.

Work uneventful. Came back to visit with Chavi and the others. Veloren cudded with Chavi but not me. Jealous as all hell, but I do understand it. 'Ren just met me. He's been with Chavi for a bit now. Things will change, as we get to know each other.

For now, he's insisting on a shopping trip, as he has no things of his own. Already got one of those holiday dream plushies for him, and a candied apple - he loves sweet things. (fitting). He's been playing Uisce's gameboy for a solid hour now Oo Might have to pick up one for him.

I managed to get Veloren to pose with my personal wooden mallet, took some snaps to paint from - 'cause heaven knows he was tuckered out. Currently the Candybrat is curled up in my bed, little ears twitching in his sleep.

Babies don't sleep that well.

And certainly, I rarely do. I'm having another sleepless night, though I sorely need to get into bed at this point. I had to finish that picture of him. It's not great, the proportions are off terribly - but it's him, and I couldn't stop until it was done. Subbed in the mallet I'd like to get him so it'd be more true to form.

Discovered he likes to make things. With beads and wires. Will see about getting him some supplies, so he'll stop oggling them in that stupid catalogue. So far, everyone in the Studio seems to have taken to Ren fairly well, which pleases me. Tei and Kae are gentle, so I know they'd accept him, but Uisce... Could be worse...

The cursor blinked steadily on the screen as Syrie just stared, his mind hitting a total blank.

Fuzztail sleep, is past time. Dreamingtime for little fuzztails too~

Syrie stroked his companion's silky black and blue head and sighed. "Yes, I know...I will certainly try...." He posted his journal entry and then powered down the pc he kept at the flat, yawing a bit. "C'mon rat..."

Uisce butted Syrie's head with his own, chortling quietly as Syrie slipped into bed; the black nightmare curling up on the pillow by his head even as the silky little lykin snuggled closer to the big warm thing that "suddenly" appeared in the bed.
