Paper bounced into the coffee shop, being very careful to maintain his straight line. Quinn had told him that he would get to meet some others like him today. He hoped they wouldnt be messy...

Quinn followed Paper into the shop, smiling as he whirred and chirped his way across the linoleum. She hoped the others would find him quirky and not obnoxious -- he needed a few friends of his own species.

Braska came walking briskly into the Coffe shop. Coran tried to keep up, but his legs where just too stubly to go very fast. Braska held the door open waiting for Coran to catch up.

Coran seemed to be grumbling when he entered, but it was too quick to make out. It seems he had been rushed, because there were still pretzel crumbs all over his face. Coran stopped grumbling when he noticed another beat. He decided to walk over to him. "Hello, I'm Coran. You are?" He said as he approached the beat.

Braska watched Coran wobble over to the beat and smiled. Then he noticed a girl nearby and walked closer to her. "Hello, is that your beat?" He pointed to the hatchling that Coran had started talking to.

Paper shot the one called Coran a very dismayed look. He's covered in crumbs... how can her STAND it?! Deftly, the little puff began cleaning off the piggle, chirping softly while he dusted.

Quinn watched the newcomers, and held out her hand to the man who had approached her. "I'm Quinn," she said, "And yes. That's Paper." She said that for the benefit of the piggle, since Paper couldnt talk yet. "Your Beat is quite, er... festive!"

Coran looked at Paper in disbelief, he couldn't believe this other beat was cleaning him.

Braska took Quinn's hand and shook it. "I'm Braska." he said in return. Then laughing a little he said, "Yeah, he is. He was a St. Patrick's day special." Then he noticed what Paper was doing. "Umm..paper, Coran doesn't like to be touched a lot, you might..."

But it was too late, Coran had poked Paper in the face with one of his stubby legs.

"Coran! I told you to play nicely, didn't I?" Braska asked looking sternly at Coran.

Coran sighed then rolled his eyes. "Yes." He then turned to Paper, "Sorry."
